Anyone running 20mm offset triples on a 450x?

I am looking to change my triple clamps to 20mm offset and I have found most people are running the 22's and like them. Just wondering if anyone is running the 20's and if they like them. Thanks

22mm is sufficient. 20mm would affect straight line stability more than the 22mm. however, with a stabilizer it likely wouldn't be too severe.

Ken I think you meant to say that it wouldn't be too severe with a stabilizer. At any rate, I can testify that 20MM with a Scotts stabilizer works great as that would be what I am using on my 450X.

Corrected! I did mean to say it wouldn't be a problem. Thanks!

I am looking at the Applied and the Ride Engineering triples and it looks like only the Rides come with a 20mm offset.

What brand are you using Chopper?

The most popular brands we offer are Applied, BRP, Ride Eng., and Pro Circuit in that order. Not all are making 20's these days. Most found the 22's to be the best compromise in turning and straight line stability. If you don't find the information you need on offset options for these let me know via our contact us page on www.crfsonly.com.
