I just installed a Core Exp 3.0 on my X. Had my first ride with it today. Overall, it's awesome--it definitely helps me ride better.

It has an annoyance thought--it chatters/squeals at take off from 1st or 2nd. It's not horrible, but I don't think I can get used to it.

I did a bit of research and it seems to be a fairly common behavior. It most cases Rekluse says it's normal, and that their clutch basket will correct it.

Well...I just spent $900 on a clutch, now I need to spend another $300 so that it doesn't make scary sounds?

Anyway, do they all do this when running with a stock basket (which by the way is not notched at all)?

I just installed a rekluse in my 2005 450x and have the same chattering problem. I have been told that changing the transmission fluid to Maxima 80w transmission fluid helps a lot. Haven't tried it yet, but I plan to.

    Good luck!

I have an old Rekluse that did that. There was some adjustments made that corrected it. Stiffer springs I think. It's silent now. It was not engaging properly at take off.
