450r rekluse z start into a 450x

I have an original rekluse z start (not pro) for 02-08 450r models, I originally bought it for my supermoto which is an R but now I think I want it for my 450x trail bike. Does anyone know whats involved with swapping it over to the X? I called rekluse and they just offered me a $100 trade in on any new product, said they stopped supporting that product 7 years ago. From what I can gather on their website the X has 7 steels and the R has 6, and the throwout spacer on an X is a .25" ball and the spacer on the R is a .290"x.130" oval spacer.
