Front head light on my 2006 CRF450X HI/Low

    Ken, or anyone else,

My 450X is street legal, well kinda. I would like to finalize it just in case I get pulled over. I don't have a high/low beam on this bike, but was wondering if I can use the same head light. Anyone have a way to utilize the stock head light? I ordered a bar mount switch system, so I can toggle my hi/low. It also has a horn push button on it
    Any input would be great

    Thanks

Yes, the stock headlight has a Hi/Lo beam built in. It's just not wired up. Look at the connector and you will see three wires to the light and only two from the bike's wire harness.

Not sure what state you are located in, however in Pennsylvania the stock light no matter if the High / lo function works or not would not pass inspection.
In Pennsylvania the headlight must come on without the engine running.
This is why the Baja Designs (and other kits) are popular.
I priced out doing the conversion myself and it is a little cheaper but to have a company take the time to neatly put it all together so that it is plug and play... PRICELESS!

There's one in the OEM shop manual.
