Just recently picked up a 2011 450X to get back into dirt biking. Can't wait to put some time on this thing, but am trying to figure out why the majority of aftermarket parts list up to 09 and then 12? What years should I be looking at to fit this thing? Specifically levers?

It had a FMF Powercore 4 pipe on it, and even that lists 05-09, 12-13 right on the box.

That's kind of weird.. I thought the eras were 2005-2008, 2009-present? I know they changed the internals expensive way), as well as plastics changing (headlight, shrouds).

As for pipes, I have the pro circuit RC5 header and the T-4 silencer, which on the bag said for 2009+ models; which I had no issues at all fitting onto my 2005. I have a hunch that the header/silencer lengths changed after 2008... But since I had the whole 'system' I didn't experience any problems.

As for part fitting, I don't know why any levers made for any 450x wouldn't fit the newer 450x's. Perhaps compare part numbers for OEM parts and see if they have changed.

Or better yet get some ASV levers and not worry about replacing levers anymore

Factually, Honda did not produce a 2011 CF450X. Some countries, for reasons unknown to me, received 2009 versions with 2011 graphics and documentation. They are actually 2009 versions.
