Hey, if anyone is having problems fitting your IMS 3.2 tank on your 2009-2012 450x. I have found a solution, I contacted IMS directly and they are aware of the issue and will send you two lowering brackets that will work great. Just wanted to pass this on, so you don't have to tweak your shrouds.

The Mohard Rad guards didn't matter, they didn't fit either way.

so the only issue was the lower shroud mount? the shroud fit well on the tank itself? also, your comment about the mohard rad guards, you are saying they did nit fit with the IMS tank? both are news to us if this is the case.

They did fit but not very easily, I had to force them. Although they fit perfect with the stock tank and shrouds. And IMS is aware of this, it seems to be a batch problem. So if you hear of anyone else with this issue, you can call IMS and they should take care of it or maybe you can get a few sets of the brackets just in case...

Sorry Ken, your last question... I misunderstood you. The Mohards always fit perfect, with the stock tank and the IMS... No issues at all.
The shrouds are the only issue.

thanks for the clarification. your statement "The Mohard Rad guards didn't matter, they didn't fit either way." was where I was confused on the guards.
