AC PUMP WONT WORK.

    AC PUMP WONT WORK.

    Ok, took the carb apart for a buddy of mine, ktm450. put in new pump diaphram, o rings gaskets, sonic cleaned whole carb. AC pump wont squirt. tube passage seems clear, any ideas? thx, d

    Are you sure that the passage is clear??
    Make sure, blow some air through it, then some degreaser to make sure.

    to add what has been mentioned, also make sure fuel is getting to the AP. i have seen a couple of check valves either not functioning or clogged. if he's done any work to the AP make sure he doesn't have TWO check valves (bowl and AP cover). verify the diaphragm spring is correctly installed.
