Oooh, it works so well too.

Smooth, early engagement, that does not slip, unless you are in a gear way too high. Then, it slips like you are the worlds best clutch-lever modulator. Unbeliveable traction in flat slippery corners, if you want it. Want to slide? Down shift and hammer it.

I tried the Dynaring from Revloc, and took it out. Inconsistent engagement, slips on really steep/slow climbs, etc. I even tried better clutch plates and dyno oil. No bueno.

The EXP 2.0 does not have a stock clutch feel, like the Z-start, but it still has normal clutch action.

from what rekluse has told me the manual clutch override functions just as the stock clutch but has a 10% or stiffer pull. has this been your experience?

The EXP 2.0 device depends on 'pre-loading' the clutch cable (taking out all the cable slack, and a several millimeters more). This combined with the 'extra pull' required, makes the clutch lever farther from the bar (cannot be changed) and harder to pull.

I use a Sunline adjustable lever, to re-gain the lever distance from the bar.

Once you get used to it, it's no big deal. You will find that the harder pull is meaningless, because you will never modulate the clutch again! So how stiff it pulls is not important. I only use the clutch to find neutral (dead engine),or to 'drop the hammer'.

You just can't modulate the clutch better than the EXP device does it, period.

I put it on my KX, so I would not have to gear down for singletrack. It works fantastic.

I am going to put one in my X too, I imagine. It does not need it as much: less flame-out, lower gearing, more off-idle torque, etc, etc.

But it's too damn cool not to consider.

Hey guys, haven't been on here in a while, but just wanted to comment on the exp. I just put one on my 07 450x and I couldn't be more pleased. Installation was a breeze and once I figured out exactly what I was looking for and why the adjustment was easy peezy as well. I've been on several offroad outings and ridden allot on the street. There is a slight chatter when leaving slowly in first gear on the street.I'm running Honda gear oil in the tranny and I think running something else might remedy this.as far as offroad I have no issues at all I went up to red river motorcycle trails here in Texas and road all day with no complaints. I took on the infamous bills woods which is some pretty gnarly tight single and road faster and longer than I ever had. I highly recommend this unit. Btw I am in no way affiliated with rekluse.

When they upgraded the 'wedges' with better captive ball bearings, the 'noise' at engagement did get louder. Scared the crap out of me at first, but Rekluse said 'not to worry'.

sorry to hear you are selling it Leo. no, the KTM is a different model. looking at Rekluse's website I don't see one listed for a KTM 350. that's a sign Leo! ;-)

Is there a significant advantage with the core kit? I just like the clutch cover it comes with.

more durable clutch replacement parts, better manual clutch feel and control. you can get the rekluse clutch cover separately with the EXP 2.0.

I put the EXP 2.0 clutch into my 06 R half way through the season and absolutely loved it! Made me wish I bought one sooner!

Rode my 280X (Athena) with 2.0 for the first time today. What an experience! Took about 20 minutes to adjust my riding style (no finger on clutch), and learned to let the Rekluse do the modulating. Getting on and off the throttle is slightly different, and there a loss of "hit", but there's no doubt I'm a bit faster and less fatigued than before.

Question: is a "whirring" sound normal? At low speed/low exhaust noise I can hear the 2.0 and plates spinning. It does not appear to affect engagement, and I could not detect any smells that normally come with burning plates. However, it is a bit unsettling, so I'm curious if others can hear the Rekluse.
