???Warp9 Front Wheel Spacing on CRF450X???

    by JonnyB » Tue Oct 06, 2009 5:53 pm

I'm anxiously awaiting delivery of my Warp9 SM wheelset for an 05 CRF450X, and have a question regarding the front wheel spacing. I understand the odometer drive need to be removed, and I've gone ahead and purchased a new CRF450R front axle. My question is do I need any further spacers to install the front wheel correctly? I'd appreciate your input, and will post pics of my project when complete. Thank You!

I bought Warp9... but bought them for the X, and omitted the ODO drive. Using the stock axle.

... the best axle spacers I've found, which made it easy were from RBRMX.COM

Make sure you call or email them, and he'll send you a set but be sure to specify two of the brake rotor side spacers! That's the fix to your question.

I run them, front and rear. If you order them for the rear, tell'em they are for Warp9 wheels and he'll mill a tad (guessing at .09) of each side of the bearing lip. He's done it for me (if you mention my name, he'll remember "Johnny Jensen")

I threw out a set of ZipTy Racing after using these!

I run those spacers also. They work great at keeping the gook off your seals.

sorry to bring up such an old post, but I am working on this exact spacer issue with warp9 wheels and need to order spacers from RBRMX....but can't seem to get ahold of him.

Anyone know if this company is still in buisness?

Anyone know of similar spacers with bearing protection?

    thanks

Thanks Johnny. This fixed a problem we had with the warp 9's we bought years ago. I got the spacers as specified, and it work great.
