    Fuel Screw - What order?

    by GMAN » Sat Jan 27, 2007 4:37 pm

Hey Guys - Well, after reading and reading all the tips you guys talk about I finally opended the air box and installed the JD Kit. My bike did have a flat spot so it was time.

My final stage 1 mod was to be the fuel screw. When unscrewing the thing it popped out along with the spring, washer and o-ring. I won't talk about how long it took me to find the stinkin o-ring but the time could be measured in hours. It was like an angel left it when I finally found it.

So in what order do these parts go back otgether? I'm thinking spring 1st, washer 2nd and then o-ring last.

I'm going to follow ~'s post when setting it. That was an excellent post dude!

    Thanks

The spring goes on the shaft first then the washer then the o-ring.

The o-ring seals the hole in the carb, the washer allows the spring to provide tension against the o-ring.
