    quad tard question

    by dlpmx » Wed Jan 24, 2007 4:42 pm

Would you be a quad tard if you were going on a cruise. And one of the shore excursions was an ATV Adventure. And you rented one and went. Keep in mind I booked the cruise around the Hare Scrambles season. And the wife thought "It might be fun"

Alright, time for me to chime in on the 'quad tard' status. If you rented a couple and went for a ride, you are a dude havin a good time... it's not 'what' you ride, it's 'how' you ride it. We label these people as 'quad tards' because of their actions, not what they ride.

Why do I say this? I raced MTGP for 4 years on quads and also rode pro 250cc on bikes for many years. Quads are fun, bikes are also fun depending on the terrain you're riding.

So, call me a 'quad tard' if you wish, but I like both. :)

I went on a quad trip in Kauai through some awesome trails... Even though the quads had limiters I still managed to kick mud up on the guides

    Please define "ATV Adventure".
Also, would this particular Cruise be a "Blue Cruise"?

It's a Carnival cruise. The description says pick up your quad, ride some trails and look at the island. Arrive at a secluded beach.Swim, explore, have a lunch and ride back. It's under $100 a person and is 4 hours long. I figured it would be a way to ride a little during a 7 day boat ride. The island would be St.Maarten in the Caribbean. I just wonder if I can get a honda 450 quad.

Definately NOT a blue cruise, that sure sounds like fun, and i'll bet you really enjoy the trip.
