Stator Questions

For the guys that have had your stators reround, who did you have do it? How much did it cost? Are you happy with the results? Do you now run the headlight off the battery or the stator ac side?

Baja Designs did mine. I'm happy with it. You will have to run your lights off the DC side though. They can provide you with the appropriate switch and wiring for that. They also set you up with a new regulator/rectifier. It's been a while but I think it was around $100. I may be off on that.

Talked with them last week and they quoted me $150 for the stator and $50 for a new regulator.

DAYUM! It's gone up... They GAVE me the regulator when mine was done... talk about a dry puck...
