    Block Off Kit and Rangers

    by GMAN » Fri Jan 19, 2007 9:50 pm

I'm considering the block off kit for my 06 450x. I'm wondering if anyone has had any problems with rangers noticing that the emissions equipment has been removed. I would guess they could write you up if they really wanted to be hard-asses since that is part of the requirement for a green sticker. In the winter I ride the high desert so that's not a problem but during the summer we usually end up in the California and Oregon National Forests. Anyone been checked or hassled due to the block off kit? I know alot of guys have gone with the kit but it may not be worth it to me if the rangers know what to look for.

I went to Carnigie once and I don't think I'll be going back. Kind of reminded me of a fishbowl with alot of fish in it. What about the national forest rangers? We go from Sequoia to Lassen and I don't need to be sent packing right in the middle of a trip with ticket in hand.
