    05 450X jetting

    by hippi97 » Tue Jan 16, 2007 2:29 pm

I have a stock 05 and was told by the mechanic at the dealer that i only need to go up on my pilot jet from a 45 to a 48 and leave the main alone. Does this sound right ? Can anyone tell me what jetting i should start with ?

JD jet kit. You need to open your airbox, and install the JD kit. Your pilot will probably be just fine. OFG

What OFG said, I tried the 48 pilot and my bike ran worse, but I have the JD kit thats what you need.

Yes, you get preference if you have a JD Jetting kit, your post make it in faster than the non-JD users. JD has its privilege. :)
