Does the protector not work with the BRP submount? Width is fine but there is not enough space between the bolt holes of the BRP and the handlebar...it mounts between the BRP base and the caps...right?

The spacing was also incorrect on my Lynx protector to work with my BRP submount. I elongated the bolt holes on the protector and it worked fine.

Interesting...
It looks like the only way my Vapor protector would work is if I milled off the mounting tabs where they meet the bars. This would open the holes and the mount would only be secured by the pinch force of the bar caps and base.
I'll get in touch with Ken Monday or Tuesday and see what's up.
Thanks!

That's exactly what you do.
