look around and try and find someone that will badmouth the SG-10's....
Well look around and find someone who HAS the Tech 10's that don't absolutely love them .
I wear 14's.(So does David Knight so no snickering

) I checked with three different places that sell SG-10's, none had the size. I don't think they look as good as the Sidi's or the Tech 10's,but that's a personal, subjective thing. I know the SG10 is a great boot in spite of it's clearly feminine appearance.
Sidi was a nightmare. What a killer looking boot the Crossfire is.They list up to 15's, but the distributor was rude,e-mail responses like "dont do special orders"-and that was the reply in it's entirety.
Contacting Sidi directly (In Italy !),they were very nice and offered to contact the distributor and arrange the special order but by then I already had the Tech 10's coming from Ken. Apparently Sidi lit the distributor up pretty good, the guy I'd been corrosponding with wrote again, apologizing that he was in a bad mood or something that day, that they were very busy, all things I don't give a third of a fifth about.
All that aside, the Tech 10's are OUTSTANDING boots by any measure. They are light,(14's are only going to get so light though

)very, very comfortable, they keep water out great, the buckles are great, the bootie only comes out when you want to take it out, the hinging and lateral support are both outstanding. The soles are wearing great, and are easily and cheaply replaceable.
I'd certainly own Sidis or Gaernes, it just didn't work out this time, and it'll be a LONG time before I need new boots.
I will say that once a rider has any quality hinged boot that they won't be going back to a boot that isn't hinged. That instant break in is pretty nice. Doug
