    Dunlop d952 tire sizes

by rick fryar » Sat Dec 23, 2006 4:23 am

I bought two Dunlops last night but I notice that the rear tire size is not offered in the stock 110/100 18 size. They go from a 110/90 18 o a 120/90 18 I bought a 110/90 18 (thats all they had) and i noticed it is a bit shorter than a 110/100 18 D756 whitch is what I currently run. The 756 wears out to fast for trail riding and I wanted to try the 952. Is runing the 110/90 size acceptable? What will it do to the performance of the bike?

Should of bought a 4.00 x 18 803 Dunlop. Wear better and great traction!! Also good conversation piece. Every where I go at least 2 riders ask me about it.
When in doubt, hit the gas!!

I think I had the 120/90 18 on my X before I changed it this last time. It was a good tire, but wears rapidly in the rocks. The desert just ate it up. Riding in medium terrain, the 952 worked real well.
