Does anyone know how I can get past the D.M.V?
I called and talked to someone @ my local dmv here in clearwater FL. and they told me if the title says for off road use only I will never be able to change that. he told me it doesn't matter what I do to the bike.

has anybody ever converted a bike to street legal in florida?

Any help would be appreciated.

do what the bike thiefs do (no dont steal a bike)
get a salvage title or buy a 650l

I actually was trying the same impossible task. I gave up...BUT...I heard that completing "Change of Body" afidavid with the DMV could be a possible work around. Not sure what that means, but....

find a friend out of state and register it there

I am trying to get a tag on it without having a salvage title.
I think your right bocephus450x. out of state might be the only way to do it.
I'm going to tennesee after christmas maybe I can title it up there.
I'll update if I can get anywhere with it.
