Gearing and Jetting for 450X

    Yes there is enough adjustment in the chain blocks for 13/49 combo. You could even go to a 48 tooth as long as your chain is not stretched way out. I run a 13/48 combo when running a paddle tire for the needed clearance in the swingarm and it works out great!

    I kinda thought the same thing when my X was totally stock, and then I rejetted. You will see a big difference when its jetted right. Stock is WAY too lean. Not good for the engine. You should rejet it soon

    does the jd kit include everything for this?

    Yes. You just follow the directions,you'll be changing the needle and the main jet,opening the airbox a liitle,and re-setting the fuel screw. The JD directions are very good,and so is that "How-To" you have. Doug
