    Rocks are not as friendly to crash into as mud, that's for sure !
    I'll have to post a picture of this crfs disc guard that shows some other views, the tongue and groove section is big time heavy duty, a very sturdy looking piece of equipment to be sure. Doug

    long story but they aren't made on the same mill...and there are significant design and manufacturing differences.

    Boy, I didn't mean for this to turn into something like this. I think both the Scotts, and the CRFs shark fins are very nice. I'm just looking for a unit that will protect the rotor the most.

    I think what I might do is, order one of each. This way I can put on my bike and put the other one on my wifes bike. I know both will work great.

    Now the question is, does it matter what bike they go on? Will the same unit fit on a 250X and a 450X or is it a different modal #?

    Don't know about the Scotts, but the FTD/CRF's Only should fit both. The carrier assy is the same on both bikes. I can't imagine that Scotts would be any different.

    yes they will fit all the large crfs (250/450). we'll have one for the crf150r soon.
