final drive gearing is a bit of a goldilocks paradox. i've ridden with friends who have final drive gearing that would drive me nuts but it works for their riding skill and preferences. it's one of the reasons i no longer make gearing recommendations. our RPM/Speed calculator helps visualize the trade offs which should help you in your decision.
