    could i use hp4s full synthetic in both engine and tranny?


    how is it that an 80w and a 10w oil is reccomended for the tranny???????!!!!!!

    I'm not an oil buff but i think if they make an oil specifically for the transmission wet clutch that's what you should use. I have put the hp4, the Honda red bottle and Maxima MTL all in my tranny at separate times. The MTL definitely shifts the smoothest.

    I've got an idea :
    Use what the manual says, it is very clear what the service requirements and weights are , or any of the Maxima products.
    This is a stupendously boring subject with all you want to possibly read on it here and all over the internet. Doug

    Or which set of radiator guards and grips! Well, actually only grips. We all know that Flatlands are the best radiator guards. 8)

    Clarified Impact Copolymer Polypropylene (Very Clear, not foggy like natural)

    Lexan is too brittle. Lexan Clutch cover would be cool though :D

    Just change often damnit! and don't worry about the nit-picky details of quality differences.

    Remember, oil doesn't break down, oil gets dirty. That's when it gets bad. Don't let your oil get dirty.

    yes & no Oil doesn't break down but the additives do

    but you are right...use good oil and change it often & life will be good to you
