That mountain looks like pure snow. Do you have any idea what street value of that is?

Back east (NJ) we had flurries on Weds. That was the first snow of the season. Latest arrival of first snow on record and not much of a storm to boot.

Forecast for the weekend is 60 degrees and rain showers. Not that I mind the mild temps, but we could do with some snow and it's screwing up all the plants.

You know a movie is good when you have french fries diving into an oil pool with Van Halen rocking.

    Instant classic.

I had to drive through the Inland Dumpster last Sunday morning (the 15/215 split was closed) I was taken back as to how much of a s'hithole the place has become.

Stevens Looks nice. Haven't skied there since High school.

Anyone thinking of heading to Mammoth:

Bring your bike because there's no snow there. I was there last weekend and it was the worst coverage I've seen for this time of year. They might have most lifts operating, but any run without snowmaking you'd have more fun on your bike. Cornice is the only run open off the top with a strip about 25 feet wide they made with a snowcat and many rocks. Anyone who thinks this is some attempt to dissuade crowds before a holiday weekend- have fun. Just rent equipment from the mountain and buy the damage insurance.

If you do go bring you riding gear even if you don't bring the bike- if you bail off the runs you will be crashing in dirt/rocks.
