Glad he is ok. I dread the day when my son has a bad crash. I love to ride w/ my kids but it scares me they will get hurt. So far I am the only one to get hurt but if you ride long enough, eventually we all crash. Sometimes I think it is a little wake up call to slow down a bit. Glad he is ok, Guy

My 9 year old son has learned not to say a word about his crashes. That's the only way we keep his mother from freaking out. A few weeks ago at Gorman he took a digger and ended up half hanging off a cliff. I had to grab him by his belt to bring him back over the edge. Scary, for both of us to say the least. Still, he had no problem looking his mom right in the eye and telling her that he didn't crash all day long. I love that boy.

Good to hear he is doing good and it did not end up being more serious than it was. A concussion is bad enough. Take care ~ Scott

We tried to play it off that the harder big boy rides are the ones where we come back ok and the easy ones were where the hard crashes come from..She wasnt buying it.

Just got back home and uploaded these...

This is what he hit. I was in 5th gear mid throttle when he hit so I guestimate 50-55 mph.

Where the bike on the left is where he hit the ground from the washout. (No exageration!) A good 25-30 yrds.

As you can see he was walkin there so that was a good sign. :D He then went the rest of the way to Randsburg before hanging it up.

Damn Dogg! That's quite a "get off"!!!!

Did your boy know he could fly before that??

Found a couple of those washouts on friday, boon docking behind Hank. Luckily I had him in front so I could see when he hit the brakes, or I would've discovered how far I could fly.

I think your boy is much more aero-dynamic than myself. I don't think anybody is going to beat that record and walk away from it...

Thanks for the help today Russ...It was much appreciated.

Just because Russ has a bad boys name doesn't make him a bad boy. DD is just a angel in training. :D He's like all of the guys I have met out riding. ALL of them are a great group of guys that care about others.

The bike was chewed up good too.
I resemble that remark, you can be assured if I ever travel 75 feet in the air without my bike and live, it will be sold shortly there after. I'm glad to hear the kid is OK, that must have scared the living shitake mushrooms out of you
