Question about my sons recently purchased 2017 CRF125F with a new battery:
Is it normal for the battery to drain overnight when the key is left on?

I have a 2004 CRF230 and an leave my key on for days or weeks and the battery doesn't drain.

I guess it would depend on what is actually powered when the switch is on , some bikes the key is simply completing a circuit but not actually powering anything , that might be the case with your bike , but not your sons .....


So to answer your question .... Generally Yes , it is "normal" for the battery to drain if the key is left on ....
