Will Renthal 'KTM High Bend' work on '04 crf250r?

Renthal's site says the 994(KTM high twinwall) may not work on my bike, but over the phone renthal said it probably would.
The 994 is the only bar with the bend I like (I'm 6'4") which is minimal sweep, relatively tall, not too much kick up.

    Thanks!

Welcome to the site !! \:D/

Are your bar clamps 1-1/8" ?? , if not they need to be to use a KTM specific bar , as they are 1-1/8" from the factory , Honda bars are 7/8" , otherwise they won't fit , so you need to confirm that with the sales person and confirm what is actually on your bike , i have used Pastrana FMX High Bars (Pro Taper) on my X with no issues and they are pretty tall , but as mentioned , i have 1-1/8" clamps , the only thing you might have to do (i had to on my 02 450R) was use a (in my case) 450X Galfer Steel Braided Brake Line , as the R brake line was pulled tight across the number plate with higher bars , so you "might" have to use a 250X (or 450X) brake line to not have issues with the line being tight , it bolts up the exact same as the 450/250R lines with the exception of the length , you won't really know that till you install the bars and see where the stock line lays and how tight it is across the front plate ...... other than that , you should not have any issues , with the possible exception of the size bar clamps you may have ;)

I think the issue is in the clamping distance/width. It appears the crf has a wider clamp area than the KTM. E.g. mine is 130mm from the outside edge of the clamps. The KTM high bar "D" measurement is 110mm.
I purchased Applied oversized clamps to replace my 7/8" along with the 994 bar. So I should be fine that way. Now my concern is that the bars may not be designed for the 130mm clamping width and thus fail or not clamp down correctly.

    Thanks!

As long as it does not try to clamp on the curve of the bar and its still flat , you should be fine , its 1" difference , so it still could be flat beyond where it clamps which would be fine , if its where the curve starts then you would have issues with it holding tight

I'll give it a shot and see if it mounts up okay. Thanks for your input!
