so I managed to take out 3rd gear on the mainshaft. glad I looked before I bought a crf-x 3rd gear as its same gearing as the r trans.

does anyone know where to find that I can just find 3rd gear from the kit? or do I see myself tossing in stock 3rd from the r trans and just dealing with the jump from 3rd to 4th...

You might want to ask/PM Ken , since he sells the kits , he could most likely point you in the right direction as far as the single gear

I contacted act clutches and the guy that mainly deals with them is out of the office til the 10th. its slim that I'm gonna be able to get one gear. they did offer me a discounted rate on another gear set, but I'm debatable cause its 3rd gear, so I might run stock gears and be done.
as for why act clutches makes them, the guy said it was a side project for the owner and he had them made for something he wanted to.
