    CRF150R Front sprocket question

    by en450 » Thu Oct 20, 2016 9:22 pm

I have a question about the front sprocket retaining plate. I recently bought a 14t renthal front sprocket for my 150 for supermoto use and the bolt holes for the retaining plate do not line up with the new sprocket. The plate and sproket both line up with the splines on the shaft coming out of the trans but no matter which way I install the plate the bolt holes don't quite line up. I was wondering if anyone has run into this issue?

Are the holes in your sprocket too wide? Maybe this is obvious but just in case... The plate slides on the splined shaft till it reaches a groove(gap) in the splines then you rotate the plate to line up the holes in the plate with the tapped holes in the sprocket.
