    crfx-e 250cc - 2007 speedometer issues

    by sput4u » Wed Feb 24, 2016 4:44 am

    Hi
I am having an issue with my speedometer on the bike that shows less speed then normal by 10+ kmh.
Does anyone knows the way to configure this speedometer?
Or should i change it to get a new one?
    Thank You

Welcome to the site !! \:D/

Did you get a manual with the bike ?? , and have you checked with the dealer ??

The Euro bikes are completely different than the U.S. models , so unless someone from over there is watching these forums , its kind of hard for anyone to give you a exact answer

I would guess that it is digital and there are menu's to look thru , on Digital speedo's here you would measure the runout of the wheel , by marking the tire sidewall and the floor so the marks are the same , and rolling the tire 1 full revolution across the floor , then mark the floor where the mark you put on the tire is even with the floor again , measure the distance between the 2 marks on the floor , and use this number for your wheel size , there should be a setting in the munu to enter the tire size , once you do that , you "set" the info , and exit the menu , then ride the bike and see if the speedo is accurate

    Hope that helped some !!

    Thank you for your reply.
I bet that the all problem is in the setting of the tire size...
    Iwill check and report back
