So its a long story but ill try to keep it short. I was out riding and the bike bogged out on me and then was just backfiring horribly and cutting out. I could start it and it would idle just fine but if i gave some throttle it would bog and backfire a LOT and die out. I took it to the shop and turns out my rocker arm bearing was chewed up so they replaced that and apparently he fired it up and then it just died, no spark. So 2 weeks and 200 bucks later I was fed up with the shop guys. He said he tested all electrical and it had to be the CDI box so I went and got my bike from there and got a known good CDI and hooked it up. Well the only way to start it was rollin down the hill and it wouldnt stay running. I finally got it on the stand and got it to kick start but it was a HUGE pain and it still backfires when giving it throttle. I have no idea what the deal is. Before all this it ALWAYS started on first or second kick. Any help would be appreciated I already missed out on one race.
Also if anyone knows a REAL mechanic in Colorado Springs that would be helpful. Thanks.
