CRF's Only Forums

I have one real quick and straightforward question. Does anyone know for certain what metal the engine casing is made out of? Is it pure aluminium or is it some type of alalgum of other metals? Basically i want to know whether i can weld it the same way as aluminium

As far as i know its just Aluminum , the only other metal would be the clutch cover which would be Magnesium , but the engine cases including the ignition cover would be just plain Aluminum
