whats the proper way to do?

I have a 2006crf 450r I just removed the engine from the frame and tore it down.the old head cylinder has one stripped cam bolt but isnt too worn It has two brand-new black diamond intake valves I want to sell it not a clue for how Much but it still runs it will include shimms and keepers and valves. Guides are still in good shape. But anyways I ended up buying a new oem 2007 head with a kibble black diamond valve and spring kit all around.it was a pretty penny so im wanting to install it right so will I be able to lap the valves or do the seats need to be cut?

a new head comes with seats cut albeit product seat cutting. with our new heads with KW valves we cut the seats and performance profile them blending into the port bowl. we do this for both performance and valve durability. cutting them allows us to assure proper valve seal and contact height on the seat. if you have not already acquired your head you might want to look at our offering. however, if you have the head already you can send it to us, or another qualified shop for seat preparation. if this is not possible, then i recommend you install the valves in the new head without lapping.
