    is this worth building

I traded for a 2006 crf450r last summer and it definitely had been riding and maintained by some what of a jack rear. I have decided to buy a new head havnt decided to just buy a 06 stock assembly or a 07 head and put ss valves and everything in it. I figured while I have the motor out would it be worth doing a full tear down and put a gasket kit in?

the bottom end of these motors are rock solid. so, unless you are seeing signs (bronze colored shavings in the oil filter) or it has already excessive hours, I say let it be for now. the top end go with the '07 head as it's bolt on compatible and offers better performance. replace the piston as well as the top end gaskets. Go with the Kibblewhite Stainless valves and springs. We offer an excellent value head with our performance CNC valve seat work and these valves installed.
