Spark plug deteriorating

    Spark plug deteriorating

    Can anybody tell me what is causing my plug to erode away into a point like this? This plug has less than 20 hours on it.

    The NGK Iridium lazer plug electrode tip is pointed like that when new.
    The body of the plug in the picture looks old though!
    If the bike is running fine, I would just replace it with a new one.
