about 5 months ago I purchased an 06 CRF450R and it ran great, I have put about 30 hours on it this season. I wiped out and ripped my tailpipe off about a week ago, ordered a new one and installed it. This morning I went to go for a ride, the second since the accident) and it started fine but when I put it into first gear the bike died. After a couple attempts I realized that the clutch was not disengaging even though I was pulling the lever. I can shift between the gears without a problem. Not sure what happened.

Any help would be great!

have you checked the clutch cable? when you pull in the clutch can you see the clutch lifter lever moving? has this been bent? if all looks good externally you'll need to remove the clutch cover and inspect.
