T.M Designs power lip lower chain roller alignment issue

    by Aspired » Mon Aug 22, 2011 7:18 pm

Anyone running one of these? I bought one from well here and no matter which way you put it on the spacing is off. Verified package was for 05 450x.

Stock lower roller when on outside is flush with outer part of the swing arm.

The T.M sticks out and with the power lip it pulls on the chain.

I see the issue as the T.M. does not go over the lip on the shaft where it sizes up like the stocker it. Liek it either has the wrong on one of the bearings or something?

Wanted to know if maybe I am for some reason just being stupid but I even tried to push the bearings to one side or the other, there must be something in the middle that stopped them from going side to side as no go.

    Thanks,

    Cory

I know it's been awhile since you posted but I had this same problem and called the company. They told me to force it on by tightening the nut until it stops because of the type of bushing inside. Sounds strange but it worked like they said it would.

Hey late is fine, I'll try it as it's just sitting on the workbench doing nothing now!

    THANKS!
