I would suggest that the fuel screw needs to be carefully removed and port cleaned. Use some kroil, wd40 or whatever you have to help unstick it.

Check that it appears to be screwed in straight with no signs of adhesive.
Use a good fitting screwdriver and work it back and forth to gentle loosen it up.
Once unstuck and new oring installed the adjusted for smooth running.

Was the plug just black or was it black and sooty?
You are turning the choke off after you have started the bike?

    C30F Power Up needle
    Mains 132
    Idle 45
    2 turns out
    Baffle out, Screens In

It starts,it runs,it gets to where all CRFs can get to without the valve or valve plate dramas

So when you replaced the fuel screw did you get all the old oring out?
Did you assemble the fuel screw in the following order
Spring over screw, then washer and lastly the oring?

How many turns out is the fuel screw?
Normally you gently seat the fuel screw and count the turns out.
Start at say 1 1/2 turns from seated should get it at a good starting point for tuning.
You are putting the choke in the full up position when starting especially if it is cool or cold.

Have always had to use choke to start on mine even with the 45 idle jet.
    Runs ok once warmed up.

When i first got the bike i didn’t really have to use the choke but now i do a lot to start it. after replacing the battery and fidgeting with the fuel screw and idle screw it came to life it ran for a few good rides and then it started to bog. I tried cleaning the carb and hour ago and put it back together. Turned on but leaking from the carb again i think i’m just gonna get a new carb lmao I ship out to boot camp tomorrow and was trying to get it running for a family member but it seems like i’ll just be pitching in money for a new carb.

    Hey guys,

    new poster here.

I got an annoying problem with my Honda CRF250 that neither I nor my mechanic could fix so far living in Thailand.

The bike simply wont start. Battery was changed 2 months ago, after a month of seldom use, motorbike just wouldnt start again, not even the light on the display would go on. Alternator was changed, and it lasted one day, then the battery was dead again. Any ideas where the problem is?

Also, my mechanic send me a spare part sitting on a card box below, anyone know what this is called?

    Cheers
    Chris

Друзья, вы вообще пробовали когда-нибудь делать тренировки на техничность?
Я просто был в ужасе от этого, я чуть не причинил себе вреда.
Команда тренеров мне конечно помогла, и я стал выполнять подходы более плавно
