The long awaited release of the VholdR is finally over! We have them in stock ready to ship. Below is a link to them in our catalog. So, what's the big deal? that is awesome....now all i need is $350 which really isn't bad at all for what it is!!! The biggest downer about helmet cams was you are in for $250 bucks and still have to throw your camcorder in your pack and hope you don't take a header and smash it!

What is the recording time? Have you used one yet? How is the picture quality compared to Hi8 or DVD camcorders?...........It would be nice to not have to haul around a 3 lb. video camera in my camelback anymore.

picture quality is excellent. here's a link to samples:

battery life is on average 2 hours and you can store 50min of video per GB of storage on a MicroSD.

the entire system weighs 4.8oz. and is self contained...no external wires or recorder. it also has two laser pointers on the lens so you can visually see where the camera's view is.
