I'm new on dirt biking and recently trying to learn corner and have trouble. I'm hitting my fingers or handlebars with my knees and sometimes its really hurts. I'm riding crf250r 2004 when i try to sit on my friends 450r it feels that handlebars are much higher. Is it difference between 250r and 450r or its something wrong with my technique.

I bought my bike second hand so it wont be surprise that previous owner did something to lower handle bars. Is there any way to check factory specs of handlebars height (cant find such a thing in manual)?

You could put some protaper atv highs on it. Youll need thickbar mounts but they are almost like a spacer and raises the mounting hight. The bars themselves have an elevated hight and between the two youll have more room and more leverage
