Any one running this little devil? I put mine on this week and ran it last night racing. It seemed to give the rear to much traction the thing just walked right over and landed on me. I was up on the tank and everything but as soon as I got the clutch completly released over she came handle bars right in the gut and flat on my back and a new rear fender later. Is there a certain technique to use when you run these things?

I put it on my crf250 and never use it. I still get good starts. Prob more useful on a 450 or something

I'll play with it in the yard a little before my next race saturday. I think alot of it was how tacky the gate area was. That and i'm running a Michelin s-4 sand and mud paddle tire. so that thing just grabbed on and never let go. Thank for the input i'll give that double clutching thing a try.

Sounds like your problem was clutch control.
During practice, try a start (even if your in front of the gates) to get feel of starting line traction etc.
My son (125 Jr) uses holeshot device with good success. However, I think it is critcal that your starting technigue is dialed in before using one.
Holeshot doesn't work on concrete.
