Who are you????

Here is an easy topic to talk about and it will let the members know eachother better. Where are you from and what do you do when you're not riding? I live in Springfield Mo (it's really not as bad as it sounds) and I have been riding for a little over a year now. In order to afford to ride I work for Acura in the sales dept. I hope this gets some people talking.

are you sooo young or a late starter, Wade?
I considder myself a late starter but have been riding for a long, long time
on- and off-road
as I mentioned in another thread I started off-roading on a BMW R80ST
have been riding lots of weird things on 2 knobbies: Bultaco Alpina, SWM TL320, Zündap GS125, KTM GS175, GasGas Pampera 250, Husaberg FE501, Morini 350X2 just to mention a few
MX is not my thing, riding in small circles is for people who do not find their way and do not have any stamina

I am actually 27 yrs old, so I am just a late starter. I did grow up riding 3 and 4 wheelers but never a bike. I now wish I had started earlier because it's so much fun.

My name is Joe Martin and I am 28 years old as of today. Today is my birthday yeahhh. Anyways, I've been riding for many years now. I started riding on my 85' CR250, what a great bike and I currently race a 03' CRF450. I use to do mostly desert riding and some some dune riding, but of lately I've been doing the AMA District 37 Grand Prix circuit.

I've been riding for only three years now, but I'm already on my fourth bike. Im 29 years old and a second grade school teacher in Yuma Arizona. I really need to take out a second job to pay for this dirtbiking business, but I honestly would sell my house and clothes before my crf450. (ohh my wife just read this message and said I can sell my clothes, but not the house).

i'm 27 this month. have been riding for about.... lets see.....

oh 2 months now.. :) i'm learning though. i had rode a 80 when i was about 16 years old and that the only bike i've ever rode. and i crashed it.

only crashed my 230 once so far. when i'm not riding i'm usually busy grinding, turning, milling, machining of some sort, some kind of steel. or playing my taylor. also study shotokan.

i'm from socal...born and raised. i started riding when i was a kid but never owned my own bike...always had to beg and borrow...never stoled one and hence i'm not behind bars typing this ;)

finally got back into riding as an adult and i love it...except for the crashing part. i've had a few bad spills and recovery as an adult has been slower and not as complete as it was when i was a kid.

i'm a family man and my kids ride...my oldest son is now faster than i am...which is pretty cool.
