    COLD COLD COLD

    by wade » Thu Dec 23, 2004 6:20 am

Well winter is finally here in Mo. Todays high is only going to be 15 degrees. Still looking forward to riding on X-Mas day, the high will be a sweltering 22 degrees. How is it where you are?

Well today it got up to about 8 deg for a high not much better tomorrow but it should be around 45 on x-mas day. Got down to about -25 actual temp last night in a couple of towns around here. I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota BTW. Al least it wasn't windy today!

Won't be any riding here in michigan unless it has a track and two skis. We just got 8-10 inches of that cold white stuff. Looks nice but ruins everything.

OK, a cool front hit us
below 30 yesterday, went riding anyways, had cold fingertips for the first some miles but tight woods make you work out hard enough to get warm even in normal summer gear, took the wind breaker off after 20 minutes or so

I will enyv you as soon as summer comes around and hits us with 90% humidity
    but for now
    spring is here
trees in full bloom, white, pink and purple, no leafes yet
the sun is out, it is dry, nice and mild in the upper 60s
had a perfect 'work and ride day' yesterday
thankfully the only chainsaw broke down shortly after out lunch break ;) so we spent the afternoon riding
after almost 3 month on mountainbike trails the singletracks of our best loved OHV seem sooo fast, traight, wide-open

I got sunburnt yesterday in between Moto's. It was 80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. I'm with Ev, 100 degrees and 90% humidity stinks, but I wouldn't have snow if you gave it to me (I wouldn't know what to do with it, only seen it in pictures).
Gravity is the only reason I have scars.
