does anyone know when any of the popular magazines will do a 450cc shootout?

speedracer, If it is anything like last year, the shootouts will be in the january issues. they should be out soon, if there not already. From the sounds of it the honda will walk away a winner again.

have to agree...all the early indications are that the crf450r will come out on top...i haven't read a single complaint about the '05...in fact, most say they didn't think it was possible to improve on perfection but somehow the engineers at honda did just that.

so, it will be fun to see the shootouts.
