when you sign up to become a member before the season starts they ask you to pick three numbers. You must send it in before a certain date. What ever number is still open you get. If all three are taken someone will call you to settle it. If you sign up on time and were a member last year, you have first dibs on that number.
I had 911 as a number when i first began to ride outdoors! I have now gotten red of that number due to keeping up wit the oldtimers that are family friends! I'm now #124, its my birthday, January(1) 24, 1989! Maybe ur number won't fallow u around for long.

I chose '54' so when I come to looking up at the medics and they ask me my age I can look over at my bike and get the answer. I'm trying to work my phone number into a sticker for the fork protectors.

As I recall, and I may be somewhat cloudy here, LASO used 918 as a radio code for 5150? As in 918V = Crazy person; Violent. Usually associated with a 'Duster' (under the inluence of PCP) when I was on the street in ELA.
