have a test.

all at crfsonly i have a test monday in environmental science. the test is over the first 30 elements of the periodic table. any tips on how to make studying funner, easier will be greatly appreciated.

unfortunately, it's all memorization....flash cards are the best way. categorize the metals vs non-metals and transitionals...divide them up that way with the flash cards. frequency with the cards is more important than one long session. get to them early and often.

yeah if you dont mind ill tell you what i know so far.

cr- chromium
o- oxygen
fe- iron
na- sodium
cl- chlorine
mg- magnesium
ni- nickel
li- lithium
si- silicon
cu- copper
b- boron
be- beryllium
c- carbon
ca- calcium
mn- manganese
h- hydrogen
he- helium
s- sulphur


but thats not how he is going to give the test. he is going to say the abbreviation and we will write down the name. so im covered.
