    Radio Control Expo

    by Muckers5 » Wed Apr 15, 2009 11:29 am

If there is anyone who is into the remote control hobby then you should really check out the radio control expo(RCX). It is April 18-19, and if you buy tickets online at rcx.com, you can use this promo code to get $3 off.
There are going to be alot of great deals, and a few tracks you try out. If you are into RC, then you have to be there. :D

here's one I built. 108" span. 100cc twin for power.
The engine is American made. Desert Aircraft in Arizona. Talk about a sweet piece.....

    Dude that is plain sick!
    Nice job on the builds......

A buddy of mine has a few Jets with actual turbine engines, just scaled down... Very expensive, but very cool!

I would hate to think of how much money you would lose when the radio frequency glitches!

    thanks.
Those turbines are really cool. Look and sound like full scale...almost cost as much too !!! They're out of my league. They can end up costing $25,000 and more.
Pretty much everyone now is using 2.4ghz spread spectrum radio equipment. At least for these bigger high dollar planes...pretty much glitch proof. "GLITCH" was the best excuse for crashing, now you need to own up to it being your own fault when you auger in.

thank you. I put a lot of time in these planes. I'm pretty good at building them but not very creative with finished color and design schemes. I always try to come up with something I haven't seen on anyone else's planes...sometimes it works out
