    disposing of bad oil.

    hey with 3 dirtbikes im concerned about dumping used oil in my back yard. I know its pollution and if i was earth i wouldnt like it. ive heard of recycling centers but i dont think theres any around here. should i even worry about it? i know theres something i can do. i just dont know what. just got done changing my 250's earl (oil). can you believe i can run pro honda GN4 4 stroke oil in my CR250 (transmission).

    I really don't wanna go into if it's right to dump oil in your backyard, but if I were you I would try your local auto parts store. The Auto Zone stores around my house accept used oil - up to 5 gallons at a time. Do the right thing and have it disposed of it properly...

    if you're in a city fire dept. and/or local officials have recycling centers for oil and other chemicals. check it out...and i agree, part of protecting our right to ride is being responsible.

    yah ill check auto zone tomorrow. do i have to specify what kind of oil it is when giving it to them?

    don't think so, but keep it oil only
    at home they recycle oil (and glas, plastic, paper, metal, bio/digradable materials ...)
    but they do not like breakfluid or gas in the oil
