hey with 3 dirtbikes im concerned about dumping used oil in my back yard. I know its pollution and if i was earth i wouldnt like it. ive heard of recycling centers but i dont think theres any around here. should i even worry about it? i know theres something i can do. i just dont know what. just got done changing my 250's earl (oil). can you believe i can run pro honda GN4 4 stroke oil in my CR250 (transmission).
I really don't wanna go into if it's right to dump oil in your backyard, but if I were you I would try your local auto parts store. The Auto Zone stores around my house accept used oil - up to 5 gallons at a time. Do the right thing and have it disposed of it properly...
if you're in a city fire dept. and/or local officials have recycling centers for oil and other chemicals. check it out...and i agree, part of protecting our right to ride is being responsible.
don't think so, but keep it oil only
at home they recycle oil (and glas, plastic, paper, metal, bio/digradable materials ...) but they do not like breakfluid or gas in the oil
