    Another expensive hobby

    by redrider911 » Mon Aug 20, 2007 12:35 pm

Just wondering if anyone else knows the pain that I am feeling. It's as expensive ~, and just as addicting.

Several months ago I got into saltwater aquariums with corals and fish (reef aquarium). I started of with a 55 gallon tank and equipment and decided to upgrade (another thing that apparently everyone in this hobby does) to a 90 gal. And of course, different equipment.

It's nice to come home from riding all day and sit in front of the tank and watch/relax.

Just figure I'd share....I'm bored today!

I'll sell you my tanks. 150 gallon main display tank 55 gallon display tank, both overflow into 50 gallon sump. Sump pumps up to 100 gallon refugium which overflows back into display tanks. I think I'm ready to give it up. Bikes are taking up too much time. :)

I got rid of the tanks with the wife. She had a ridiculous setup that consisted of a 55 gallon show tank with a $2,000 filter system. Most expensive hobby ever. You mess up for a couple days and everything is dead.
