I'd like to know what everyone thinks about reusable oil filters. I have seen two. One from Scotts and the other from ready racing comp. I was thinking about buying one. How reliable do you think they are? Thanks

hi tom...well from my perspective it's the reuse that concerns me...the cleaning to be specific. i just can't see how that would be effective...how would it be possible to get it clean without getting metal and other contaminates on the wrong side of the screen. besides that, i don't want to have anything make changing my oil more of a burden. the easier and quicker it is the more frequently i'll do it. my two cents with these high reving machines buy the paper filters and change them often.

Thanks Ken. I know you can get 6 and 12 packs of K&N's for a decent price.

Personally I am going to stick with the paper filters. Just throw them away, less messy and I am concerned about the effectiveness of the filtering of the reusable filters. Just my thoughts.
