but the story is so ...
I could not resist to paste and copy
I was riding at recently and here comes a guy on a XR 600 with his son in tow on a 80cc. They stopped and talked at the bottom of the trail. He proudly announced this was his first day riding and he just bought his bike. I told him he may reconsider riding the trails, because they are kind of hilly and can be tricky. I said the trails on the left are easier than the right. What does he do? He goes right and goes up hill. I waited a few minutes and then headed up to watch the show. I got there just in time to see his son tumbling down the hill. After great stuggle they got off the trails and then his wife got on the 80cc and they went on the MX track. While others were on the track, they stopped on top of every tabletop and talked about the other jumps they just rolled over. I thought there was going to be a 911 call any minute. I was talking with him later and he asked to see my powerband on my CR. He didin't think I knew what I was talking about when I explained what a powerband really was. He told me he decided to get a four stroke because they didn't have a powerband. And that he went ahead and got the XR600 so that when he got good he wouldn't need to buy a bigger bike with more power.
Being new to the sport is one thing (we have all been there)riding a track or trail without any reguard to what's going on around you is another thing.
